In the vast landscape of life, what does being a Roark ambassador represent for your creative spirit?

We share the spirit of adventure. A Roark ambassador embodies a commitment to adventure, exploration, and authenticity — allowing me to express my passion for the ocean and the natural world. Taking new paths is a form of creativity, and I believe that’s an essential part of the adventurous spirit we share. I am encouraged to embrace the unknown and find inspiration in every experience.

Chile's coast—what's its rhythm for you? Which landscapes and locations inspire you like old friends?

The ocean is my source of inspiration. Chile has such a long coast, and the cold Pacific Ocean feels incredibly alive. I love being in the water, whether it's on the surface, surfing, watching a sunset, or underwater—where the marine life continually fascinates me. It makes me feel like a fish in its element! I also love all marine creatures, from the tiny ones in the kelp forests to sea lions and birds—everything connected to the ocean. I still dream of swimming with whales and capturing them. I feel that the ocean gives me so much, and I want to give something back. For me, photography is a way to do that. I want to express the voice of what lies beneath the surface. I believe that when you know something well, you appreciate it more consciously, which helps to protect it.

How does the essence of Chilean culture resonate in your photography and exploration?

The essence is so diverse—ocean, mountains, glaciers, and deserts. There’s just so much to explore and such incredible variety. The feeling of home and wanderlust here definitely drives me, whether it’s through traveling or simply experiencing something new in everyday life. As it is such a vast country, distances are long, there is so much to explore and so many remote places. Remote places have a special allure. I love feeling small and humble in those places, where you can truly connect with untouched and impressive nature. I think there’s always the right moment for everything, and balancing the beautiful diversity of the world feels good ☺

Every journey has its challenges—what obstacles have you faced as a woman in the world of adventure, surf, or photography?

I love the synergy created by a tribe of women, but I also find so much fun and inspiration in adventuring with men. I believe there’s joy in every form of adventure, and it’s all about finding a nice balance between feminine and masculine energy, the yin and the yang. Embracing both sides enriches the journey and helps to overcome challenges.

As you look toward the horizon, what dreams do you see for your future?

Towards the horizon, I dream with adventure, creativity, and a balance of exploring and being grounded, always connected to the ocean. I also dream of sailing, surfing, capturing the beauty of nature through my photography while deepening my connection with the ocean and sharing it with those around me. I aspire to collaborate on projects that inspire both myself and others to embrace a journey and create a positive impact on the environment and our communities along the way.

When you’re not behind the lens, what other passions draw you in?

I love adapting to each day since they’re always different, depending on waves, winds, and projects. I also enjoy working around my home—whether it’s construction, gardening, cooking, or spending time with family and friends. I keep busy with different things I enjoy! Exploring is a passion of mine, and also I cherish little moments like having coffee or mate in the morning, write down some thoughts. Each day brings something new, and those small rituals keep me grounded at the same time.

For those standing at the edge, dreaming of capturing their first adventure, what words do you offer them?

I would say: follow your heart, trust your intuition, and stay present. Most of the time, our hearts know the way. Embrace the journey and let your personal adventure unfold naturally.
