Proof Lab’s 10-Year Anniversary Art Show ‘Living in Transition’

Ian Ross Gallery – 466 Brannan St. San Francisco
Opening Party: Saturday 9/27 – 6-10PM+ – Free
Show runs through 10/15

We’re kicking off a series of 10-Year celebration events with an Art Show. We’ve filled our friend’s gallery up with some amazing artists that have helped us out directly over the years or worked with one the brands we carry. There will be 3 new murals on the outside of the gallery (Mike Shine’s featured below). Please join us for this unique collaboration!

‘Living in Transition’ was one of the early sayings floating around Proof Lab when we opened our doors in 2004. Its meaning is as simple and obvious – a nod to riding physical transitions in surfing and skateboarding, as it is philosophical and aspirational – a dedication to change and evolution.

The founders and staff of Proof Lab are not artists of the caliber featured in this show, but we have found inspiration in their work. The lines they draw, their ability to capture a feeling/idea/experience as real as a landscape or as hidden as the subconscious, the way they surprise and make you imagine things differently, have all been gifts. We hope you enjoy being surrounded by their work as much as we do!

// About Ian Ross Gallery //
Marin native Ian Ross has been a friend of Proof Lab long before we opened our shop. As an artist and entrepreneur, he has been encouraged and supported by the community and friends he made through the Proof Lab. We can’t imagine a more fitting gallery to celebrate our 10-year anniversary in.
