TAKA’S TREEHOUSE

Japan is a magical place who’s people and culture have endured many challenges and hardships in history. The last to bend but not break the Japanese peoples spirit was March 2011’s earthquake, tsunami and Fukushima nuclear disaster. Rob Machado met up with legendary treehouse craftsman Takashi Kobayashi while in Japan to document “his most important treehouse to date.

Roark himself is currently in the bowels of Tokyo, Japan as both a student and mentor of blades, both foam and metal.
